The DW340v was designed to fit OEM fuel pump modules used in popular VW/Audi vehicles, in particular those with 1.8t, 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TFSI engines. The DW340v features a quiet and reliable turbine impeller, carbon commutator and an encapsulated armature for compatibility with ethanol based fuels. Due to the current draw of the pump's high-performance motor, it is not compatible with OEM fuel pump control modules. A hard-wire upgrade, return style fuel system or high-performance aftermarket control module is required for use.
